De inschrijving voor OPERA BUFFA Summer School is vanaf heden open. De eerste zomerschool van Muziektheater Hollands Diep bestaat uit een intensief programma van twee weken voor conservatoriumstudenten en recent afgestudeerden.
Ben je een klassieke zanger, acteur, mimespeler of circusartiest? Droom je van acteren zonder je in te houden? Dan is OPERA BUFFA Summer School wellicht iets voor jou! Je ontwikkelt essentiële vaardigheden op het gebied van performance die van belang zijn om onafhankelijk te opereren in het werkveld.
Acteren, improviseren, rol- en scène-analyse, repetitietechniek en gevoel voor stijl vormen de dagelijkse inhoud van het programma, gericht op de uitvoeringspraktijk, en culminerend in een stadsfestivalvoorstelling.
In het pittoreske Dordrecht – de oudste stad van Nederland – werk je met ervaren coaches aan een van de beroemdste operakomedies aller tijden: La Serva Padrona, geschreven door de toen 23-jarige Giovanni Pergolesi. Aan het einde van de cursus voer je het stuk, samen met de instrumentalisten van het Pelgrim Trio, uit op het Festival Dordtse Feesten in het openluchttheater van het romantische Wantijpark.

OPERA BUFFA Summer School
Registration for OPERA BUFFA Summer School is currently open. The first summer school of Muziektheater Hollands Diep consists of an intensive two-week program for conservatory students and recent graduates.
Are you a young classical singer, actor, mime or circus artist? Dreaming of acting without restraint? Then OPERA BUFFA could be the summer school for you! You will develop essential performing skills, important to operate independently in the professional field.
Acting, improvisation, role and scene analysis, rehearsal technique and sense of style form the daily content of the programme, focusing on performance practice, and culminating in a city festival performance.
In picturesque Dordrecht – Holland’s oldest city– you will work with experienced coaches on one of the most famous opera comedies of all time: La Serva Padrona, written by then 23-year-old Giovanni Pergolesi. At the end of the course you will perform the piece, together with the instrumentalists of the Pelgrim Trio, at the Festival Dordtse Feesten in the open-air theatre of the romantic Wantijpark.

Actors, mime and circus artists may send one MP4 to present themselves.
